A good use for a woven plastic basket
Monday, May 23, 2011
For centuries palm leaves have been woven into sturdy baskets and containers. Now they are often made of plastic strips, which are even sturdier and more brightly colored –an improvement!
For close to a decade I’ve kept my wireless microphones in a palm basket, but it was fraying. I replaced it at Sunday’s tianguis with a jolly plastic one. It’s actually a purse, and the strap will probably come in handy.
