Another beautiful day –above, a view from Carolyn and Bill’s balcony. Today, more shopping, walking, museum-going, and eating.The eating highlight today was a dim-sum place that used to be a hole-in-the-wall, but got a one star Michelin rating and expanded to a tonier but still straight-forward and inexpensive place. It was great! BUT I didn’t take pictures. 

I’m therefore offering pix from last night, when we walked a while to get to the ferry, had another beautiful ride back, and took a taxi home.

We walked by an army barracks made into a fancy mall, then down some stairs where a model was posing for a photo-shoot.

Carved ivory and elaborate gold necklaces are prominent in the shops of this fancy area — delusions of grandeur? the imperial heritage? or what…?
